Courgettes are also a great source of vitamin C, which is essential for maintaining healthy skin and bones.
- Good source of fibre – courgettes contain both soluble and insoluble fibre. A high intake of soluble fibre can help with high blood cholesterol and diabetes, while insoluble fibre helps with digestion and promotes gut health.
